Maintenance repair i have a 2004 ford explorer and recently i have been having issues with all the lights on the dash and radio plus the actual lights on the outside of my car blinking.

Like many of you my o d light started flashing and i was getting.
The 4wd lights are flashing and have been for about 2 weeks now.
I replaced the mini 10 amp in the 27 location on the fuse box inside the car not the engine fuse box.
I have a 2003 mazda tribute it s a ford escape with mazda badge and my power locks dome light radio dash board lights etc were out.
If no sound is heard and there is flashing lights 3 or 6 flashes depending on the system this may indicate a blown fuse and or relay problems.
I didn t try putting it in 4 wheel drive because i know this means there is a problem of some sort.
I ve only had the truck since february of this year and have never used the four low or high settings.
Went to auto shop and picked up a mini 10 amp fuse after reading this forum.
On any press of the lock button with all doors closed.
Tonight on my way home from work i noticed that in my 1998 ford explorer the 4wd and 4wdl lights would flash 4 times and then go out for about 2 minutes.
As soon as the last door is closed the vehicle will provide the one flash of the parking lamps.

After internet investigation i was lead to believe it was the 125 amp fuse under the hood on the outside of the fuse box.
It was a multi system electrical failure of the power windows power door locks radio and climate control system.

If any door is ajar no flash will occur indicating it locked all the doors but one or more doors are ajar.

Additional info from explorer owners i drive an 2002 explorer with 168 000 miles.
It was intermediate which lead me to believe it had to be a connection problem.
You should hear a clicking sound that indicates 4wd engagement.
